Professor of Higher Education in Translation — University of Tlemcen

Asma BENMALEK is Professor of Higher Education in Translation (Arabic–French–English) at the Department of Translation, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Abou Bekr Belkaid, Tlemcen. Her work focuses on translation, specialized translation, translation didactics, terminology, and the links between translation and language didactics.

Translation as cultural mediation — preserving identity while remaining open to others. Training translators as reflective, ethical mediators between Arabic, French, and English cultures.
