My research explores translation between Arabic, French, and English — from translator training and specialized translation to terminology, language proficiency, and translation as cultural mediation.

Ongoing and future projects

  1. Teaching English in the Algerian School: Current Situation and Prospects — research project on the status and perspectives of English teaching in Algeria.
  2. Annual scientific programme as Head of the Discourse Analysis Research Team — Laboratory of Customs and Forms of Popular Expression in Algeria, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tlemcen: coordination of various research projects.
  3. A pedagogical book on the teaching of translation — Department of Translation, Faculty of Foreign Languages, University of Tlemcen.

Research responsibility

Head of the Discourse Analysis Research Team at the Laboratory of Customs and Forms of Popular Expression in Algeria, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Tlemcen.
